Learn more about work authorization and career opportunities at the following programs and info sessions. These will help you get prepared for the upcoming Spring Career and Internship Fairs

Get prepared to file your taxes!

Any international student who was present in the U.S. for part of 2021 should file Form 8843 for the upcoming tax season.

International students who received a form of income from Miami will soon receive additional tax documents from the Payroll Office along with information on how to access the Sprintax online tax preparation software. 

Please review the this year's Tax Information and Resources from ISSS, which includes links to a number of upcoming live webinars from Sprintax that cover topics such as who must file a U.S. tax return, residency for tax purposes, FICA, amended returns, implications of misfiling, the stimulus check and much more.

Deadline to Apply to be an iPOL: March 1st 
International Peer Orientation Leaders (iPOLs) are students who work to support new international students during their arrival, orientation, and transition to Miami. 

If you are enthusiastic about helping new students, interested or experienced in communicating across cultures, and knowledgeable about Miami, then ISSS encourages you to apply to be an iPOL for Fall 2022.
