'22-'23 Re-Enrollment Contracts Due Back This Week!

Online re-enrollment contracts for current students for the 2022-23 school year were EMAILED to families on Monday, January 31, and are due back THIS THURSDAY, February 10, at NOON. If you did not receive yours, please contact Alison Roussy. Thereafter, enrollment offers will be made to new students. 
A separate email letter was sent on January 24 outlining tuition information for the coming school year. 

COVID Vaccination Data Needed

URGENT: To determine our most updated student body COVID vaccination rates, please upload your child's vaccination cards to our secure Magnus Health portal ASAP if you have not already done so. Thank you! Please contact Nurse Maben with any questions.

LS Author Visit

Bestselling middle-grade author Megan Shepherd will be speaking (virtually) to grades 3-5 on Wednesday, February 16, at 10 am. She will share her newest novel, Dog Star, and answer questions from students. 
bbgb, our local bookshop is facilitating her visit and is offering the opportunity to purchase a book for your child with a signed bookplate.

  • So You Want To BE A MILLIONAIRE! (Free Financial Literacy Classes for Grades 3-5)  Join Virginia Credit Union's Financial Education Specialist, Tori Filas, for six exciting sessions promoting financial success for kids! Learn about responsible spending, earning, and saving while engaging in hands-on projects and activities. This session is sponsored by VA Credit Union and is subsequently free of charge! 

  • Interested in drawing, art, or design? In this Graphic Design class for grades 3-5, you’ll learn how to use your doodling skills for real, by doing design projects for local nonprofits or small businesses. You will learn how to make professional posters and art that people want to pay for, and you’ll ultimately design posters and ads for real organizations with good causes. Our students' work has been used in ads and online Instagram posts by the Special Olympics, Martha's Kitchen, and local shelters. Instructor: VineyardApp

The best way for our families to immerse themselves in the St M community is to volunteer and participate.  We have several keystone events coming up that we need your help with, including our 31st Annual Auction on April 1 and everyone’s favorite, Magic Dragon Day (our annual spring festival) on May 7.

If someone in your family has symptoms, has been exposed, or is being tested for COVID-19, please inform the School  IMMEDIATELY IN WRITING via the COVID-19 Reporting Form linked below. The link is also on the School website.
Upon receipt of this information, Nurse Maben, St M's school nurse, will contact the family. The confidentiality of the diagnosed student or teacher will be maintained.  Please keep your child(ren) AT HOME until contacted by Nurse Maben.
