All-School Halloween Parade

Ghouls just want to have fun! Every year, our Dragons look forward to the kindergarten Halloween parade. In celebration of ONE campus, this year we invite all of our students and faculty to come in costumes on October 31 for an all-school parade led by the kindergarten classes.
In order to make the parade fun and not intimidating for our youngest Dragons, we ask that costumes not be scary. Also no blood or weapon props, please.
Students should wear costumes that they can wear for the whole day or have regular clothes underneath. They will remove props (masks, wings, boxes with arms, etc.) after the parade. Students may also wear Halloween colors.

No Classes/Faculty Clerical Day on Thursday, November 1

A friendly reminder that Thursday, November 1 is a student holiday.

Teacher Conferences

Teacher conferences begin this week.
For student safety, as there is no adult supervision on the playground, we ask that children who are accompanying their parents at conference time sit quietly in the hallway outside the classroom.

Fruit and Vegetable Challenge

The Lower School will once again be participating in the fruit and vegetable challenge from November 5 - November 16.
For the first 2 weeks in November, students will tally if they ate a lunch or snack serving of fruits or vegetables. The grade who wins will earn an extra P.E. class and fruit party.  Students will additionally be discussing in P.E. class the importance of eating a well-balanced diet that includes a variety of fruits and vegetables.

Food Drives

In this season of giving, the Lower School canned food drive will take place from Monday, Nov. 12 - Tuesday, Nov. 20.  As in years past, items will be donated to the St. Michael's Church food pantry.
Most needed items:
  • Canned vegetables (any beans, corn, green peas)
  • Canned fruit
  • Canned soup
  • Old Fashioned Quick Cook Oatmeal (not instant packs)
  • Mac & cheese
The Middle School will also be collecting non-perishable food items for Meals on Wheels beginning on November 7. Stay tuned for details.
