Dear colleagues,
With the new year underway, the SRWC space transition is entering its next phase, as plans begin to take shape and timelines come into clearer focus.
Over the past several months, the SRWC space transition project team has been working closely with your school/unit space champions on move planning. In November, we shared space allocations and building assignments. Today, we are pleased to share a tentative move schedule. Many details are still being ironed out, but rest assured, we are working in collaboration with our furniture vendors, moving company, and internal partners, including UIT and the Department of Project Management, to provide space champions with resources and support to assist with the transition.

Next steps
You can expect to hear more details from your space champion in the weeks leading up to your move. Schools and units are encouraged to plan purge parties prior to the transition. To support the process, the SRWC Operations team will provide increased Shred-It bins and pick up service, and other packaging materials. The moving company will provide space champions boxes, labels, and packing supplies to distribute. Questions about what to pack should be directed to space champions. To welcome you to your new space, the SRWC Operations team will also host welcome gatherings.
