Your Input Sought for One KU Strategic Framework |
Earlier this year, KU launched a collaborative, institution-wide strategic planning process to develop a unified strategic framework to guide all campuses, schools and units in advancing KU’s shared mission.
To support that work, KU’s Strategy Office initiated a six-month engagement process in April. The university-wide process is designed to inform, engage, and gather feedback from faculty, staff, students, affiliates and external partners. So far, more than 800 constituents across the university have participated and more sessions are scheduled throughout the summer and early fall.
The goal of the engagement process is to refine the framework based on broad input, ensuring it reflects a shared vision. Here are four ways to find out more and share your feedback:
|
- Download a draft of the One KU Strategic Framework (behind KU Single Sign-On).
-
View the 15-minute video presentation that Vice Chancellor Corinne Bannon, chief strategy and data officer, gave at an April 23 Provost's virtual town hall meeting or read the presentation slides.
- After reviewing the Strategic Framework, complete a short online survey.
-
Request a presentation for a KU unit or department. These roadshows will share the draft framework and gather feedback through open discussion and an online form. To set up a session, contact the Strategy Office at strategy@ku.edu.

Four Ways to Earn HealthQuest Credits Over the Summer |
Summer is a great time to work toward the 40 HealthQuest credits needed for the $480 premium incentive discount on health insurance and an additional $500 that could go into health reimbursement or savings accounts for Plan C, J and N.
Four simple ways to earn credits include:
|
- Schedule an annual appointment. Yearly preventive exams — such as dental, vision, and physicals or well-person exams — as well as cancer screenings earn participants five credits each.
-
Get your lab work done. Go to your provider’s office, a local lab or the HealthQuest Health Center to have your cholesterol, glucose and hemoglobin A1C checked.
-
Watch a webinar. ComPsych offers monthly workshops that provide information on handling daily stressors. Registration is required.
-
Sign up for Health Coaching. One-on-one coaching sessions help members set goals, build healthy habits and manage chronic conditions for long-term wellness.
|
Credits for appointments and lab work are typically awarded when claims are automatically submitted through State Employee Health Plan vendors Aetna, BCBS of Kansas or Delta Dental of Kansas. After a claim is submitted, it can take up to four weeks for credits to appear.
