One-Stop Advising System (OSAS) Training |
Last year, we announced the transition from Civitas to the One-Stop Advising System (OSAS) — an in-house program on the PeopleSoft platform. Since April 2024, more than 100 enhancements have been made based on feedback from faculty and staff, including improved interface navigation, enhanced reporting features, and better integration with other university systems.
To streamline the advising process, NJCU plans to discontinue the Civitas predictive analytics and Inspire modules when the contract ends in April 2025. We are currently negotiating to retain the scheduler module.
The University Advisement Center and IT staff will conduct training sessions for faculty and staff for the new OSAS advising system beginning on February 20, 2025, and continue thereafter. Demonstrations will be held in person in the Congressman Frank J. Guarini Library second floor computer lab on the following dates and times:
