ITS PART OF THE PLAN

Over the last several years, the Strategic Planning Committee (a subcommittee of the Executive Committee of the Society of Alumni) has worked diligently, tirelessly and with an intellectual and curious fervor to understand the breadth and depth of the Williams alumni experience. Their findings  inform the 2023 Strategic Plan for the Society of Alumni, which complements the Engaging Alumni section of the colleges 2021 strategic plan.
The five strategic recommendations from the Society of Alumnis 2023 Strategic Plan are:
  • Value engagement and volunteerism
  • Expand programming
  • Demonstrate commitment to and accountability for diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Reimagine the alumni website
  • Fortify the regional associations
We hope youll read the whole plan and let us know your thoughts at hello.alumni@williams.edu

Winter Exploration

Winter Study is underway! Taught by faculty, alumni, staff and community members who are experts in their fields, Winter Study courses run a wide gamut and include some offerings not available during the regular academic year. In addition to an array of travel and language courses (such as Taiwan Study Tour, pictured above), other staples in this year’s catalog are classes on environmental sustainability, the arts, life skills and wellness and faculty-guided independent study.
