The Swartz Center Announces the VentureBridge ‘23 Cohort
The VentureBridge program, part of the Carnegie Mellon University Swartz Center for Entrepreneurship, is excited to announce its investment in 13 startups headquartered out of San Francisco, New York and Pittsburgh, representing brilliant and ambitious alumni founders of Carnegie Mellon, Stanford, Northwestern, UC Berkeley, Michigan, Maryland and Georgia Tech.

The new cohort companies are: Addy AI, AugX Labs, Berri, ByMe, Conduit, Erosion, Fluid Reality,     Leaficient Inc., Pendulum, Upview, Velo AI and  2 Stealth Companies.

Announcing the Customer Discovery Kickstart
Program's June 2023 Cohort

The Swartz Center for Entrepreneurship’s Project Olympus Incubator has accepted twelve startup teams to its June 2023 cohort of the Customer Discovery Kickstart, a program for early-stage startups to explore the feasibility of their business ideas.

Startup teams in the 5-week program will learn about the fundamentals of customer discovery, including conducting customer discovery interviews and will receive coaching from experienced Entrepreneurs-in-Residence. Teams include undergraduate and graduate students, staff and alumni from many CMU schools and departments including: College of Fine Arts, School of Architecture, Dietrich College, School of Computer Science, College of Engineering and Tepper School of Business (including Isaiah Rodgers, Innovation Scholar-3rd row, pictured 4th).

Innovation Works Celebrates Latest Round of Startups to Include CMU'sToyz Electronix, Kloopify and Voaige
Pittsburgh's Innovation Works Inc. recently celebrated the latest round of startups receiving financial support from the organization during a showcase event at its AlphaLab Gear accelerator space last week. Each of the startups received an investment of at least $50K in convertible notes to further build out their ideas or products, though some were eligible for larger checks or had already obtained them due to prior involvement in IW programs.

Three of the companies are Carnegie Mellon startups: Kloopify,
Voaige (Swartz Center, VentureBridge) and ToyzElectronics (Swartz Center).
