IUP graduates who work in the visual design field and students who aspire to recently came together to share knowledge and make connections at the first-ever Slenkfest, named for the university’s first graphic design professor, Robert Slenker. See highlights from the event in this video.

Caio Gomes, who graduates next week, will head to law school at Yale University in the fall. Ask him the secret to his success, and he will say IUP played a key part. Read about the people and experiences that helped him prepare for his next chapter.

“Chalk-on-the-Walk,” the annual sidewalk commentary contest, happens today in the Oak Grove. Registration opens at 9:00 a.m., and judging of the entries for cash prizes begins at 4:00 p.m. Students and student groups are encouraged to come out and express their social and political views in chalk. Participation is free; chalk is provided.
