Downtown Roads Receive Fog Seal, Re-striping
Tucson Department of Transportation and Mobility (DTM) is fog sealing various roads throughout downtown as part of the Tucson Delivers Better Streets Program. Fog sealing is the application of a thin layer of asphalt emulsion that helps cover small roadway imperfections, cracks or other small voids and seals the existing asphalt to preserve and rejuvenate the asphalt. To read more about this DTM crack seal/fog seal project, including dates and times of work, click here.
Downtown Tucson Partnership works closely with DTM staff to inform downtown businesses, workers, residents and visitors of these roadway advisories. Downtown Alerts are sent via email and posted on the new Downtown Alert page at downtowntucson.org. Check this page frequently and stay up-to-date on the latest traffic alerts and other important community news.
