June 2023 – Captain’s Newsletter

Hello Ingleside Community,

Summer is coming and our community is jumping!  I hope everyone’s spring has been great, and that you are all looking forward to a great summer.  Here at Ingleside Station, we have been busy, busy, busy!  Every news cycle you watch, you hear about all the issues going on in Downtown San Francisco, which are real concerns.  What seems to be overlooked is how our communities are doing, and that the Ingleside is hopping with activity.  There have been numerous events in the district, with more to come as summer nears.  This is a reminder to be aware of your surroundings while out and about.  Traffic has picked up and we are doing what we can to help address it.  I personally want to thank our Traffic Unit, which has been providing enforcement in the area when they can.  With this in mind, always drive defensively.  Also, a reminder that schools will be getting out soon, and graduations will be taking place, which always contributes to our traffic concerns.  Congratulations to all our graduates!  Enjoy your summer and stay safe!
