May 2, 2024
DCHS students recently had great success competing at the Burbs Art Show, winning several awards! Congratulations to the following students who had artwork selected for the show: Mady Schreiber, Rowan Knox, Julia Prada, Rowan Collins, Cate Polley, Owen Nigg, Lexi Rohe, Grace Meeves, Lucas Hilligas, Margo Lage, Carter Coppola, Lyric Baker, Alaina Heaston, Ella Brown, Bella Bliss, Abbie Rodriguez-Lewis, Anna Johnson, Maggi Doud and Chris Belz. Their art is now on display at DCHS!

On May 1st we celebrated our May Crowning ceremony, a long-standing tradition that began at St. Joseph Academy. The student body gathered at the Maroon Memorial and then processed with a statue of the Blessed Mother around campus and into the gym. The ceremony included a blessing of the crowns that adorn all the statues of Mary throughout the school and a blessing of our new liturgical tapestries, a gift from the Class of 1973 that will be displayed during all-school Masses.

Graduation Reminders
Please click here for graduation requirements and upcoming events.
Uniform Pants
Beginning August 1, 2024, students will be required to wear black, khaki or navy uniform pants (gray will no longer be part of the uniform). Pants must be soft cotton, microfiber polyester (golf pants material) or cotton corduroy (no denim, jogger/elastic hems, or 'jeggings').
*The 'no patch pockets' rule will be strictly enforced beginning August 1, 2025, when chino-type pants will be required. For the 2024-25 school year, students won't be given a JUG for patch pockets so they may get more use out of pants they already own. If you are purchasing new pants for the fall, it is recommended to purchase those without patch pockets. A visual overview of what is and is not acceptable can be found on the Campus Store website. While not required, purchasing through our Lands' End/DCHS page ensures compliance.
Uniform Ordering - IMPORTANT
Uniform ordering will close at midnight on May 15. Place your order here. You must order uniforms now if you'd like your student to have new items when school begins. Stock held by the Campus Store is intended for transfer families.
