The July release of TSS is focused on delivering the core capabilities needed to support Fall 2026. As with any major system launch, you may encounter limitations, workarounds or functionality that continues to evolve as the system stabilizes.
The TSS team is actively reviewing reported issues and prioritizing fixes that affect critical university operations, so please use one of the established TSS support channels to ensure your request is tracked and directed to the right team.

TSS is now live and quickly evolving, and here's what you should know:

-
TritonPay will be temporarily unavailable from 5:00 p.m. PDT July 29, 2026 through August 5, 2026. During this time, online payment will not be available for students or authorized payers. If you need to submit a payment, it must be submitted after the maintenance period. For assistance, submit a ticket.
-
Major/Minor Tool temporarily unavailable: Major/minor changes for undergraduates cannot be submitted until September when the replacement for Major/Minor Tool is ready in TSS. See our May article for more information.
-
Dual Records in TSS: Students enrolled in undergraduate courses and in Extended Studies courses at the same time may see two separate records in TSS, instead of one combined record. No ticket is needed for this issue as the project team is already working to resolve.

|
|
|
- The booking window for Priority students was extended to August 2, 10:59 p.m. to accommodate any issues students may have faced during booking. View the email communication sent to Priority booking students.
-
A Plan Your Class Schedule webpage is live to support students in comparing the class planner tool options.
-
The Class Planner has new features! When searching for courses, you can view section details such as instructors, meeting times, open seats, and more. Use the campus map option to check estimated walking times and routes to get to classes.

|
Our top priority remains helping students successfully book their courses and resolving issues as quickly as possible. Here's how you can help keep that work moving:
|
-
Be Specific:
- Tell us who you are. Include your role and context to assist you swiftly. Examples: "I am a scheduler in Biological Sciences," "I am an undergraduate advisor in Eighth College," or "I am a faculty member."
-
Share as much detail as possible. Tell us what you were doing, what you expected to happen and what actually happened. Include screenshots or screen recordings when possible.
-
Report Only Once: Submit one ticket per issue, avoid follow-up check-ins unless you have new information, and close your ticket once resolved. These simple actions help us maintain an accurate view of active issues and focus our attention where it's needed most.
-
Use Official Channels for Updates: Use established communication channels for updates rather than contacting individual team members directly. When new information is available, we'll share it broadly. Bookmark the TSS: Current Limitations & Known Issues live resource as your first stop for updates on ongoing issues.
