ORIGINAL SERIES

Star Trek: Picard TV-MA — Season 3 of this series sees Patrick Stewart reprise his iconic role as Jean-Luc Picard, which he played for seven seasons on Star Trek: The Next Generation. It follows this iconic character into the next chapter of his life for one final high-stakes mission. New episodes of the 10-episode season will be available to stream weekly on Thursdays. (Paramount+, February 16th premiere) The Consultant No rating — This new series is a twisted comedic thriller that takes place at an app-based gaming company. A consultant, Regus Patoff (Christopher Waltz), is hired to improve the business, and employees experience new demands and challenges that put everything into question, including their lives. (Prime Video, February 24th premiere)

What's the latest on price hikes from fuboTV and HBO Max? We're all accustomed to price hikes these days, including ones from streaming services. Here's what you need to know about fuboTV and HBO Max: Live TV streaming service fuboTV raised its prices by $5: fuboTV Pro: Now $74.99 a month (was $69.99) fuboTV Elite: Now $84.99 a month (was $79.99) fuboTV Premier: $94.99 a month (new plan) In addition, the fuboTV Ultimate plan is no longer offered. The HBO Max subscription will go up $1 a month: Effective on or after February 11, 2023, the HBO Max subscription rate will increase from $14.99 to $15.99 a month. This is the first time HBO Max has increased the price of a subscription since launching in May 2020. The $9.99 ad-supported HBO Max plan will not see a price increase at this time.

At Midnight No rating — Just in time for Valentine's Day, this new romantic comedy centers around an ambitious hotel manager named Alejandro and a movie star named Sophie who comes to his hotel in Mexico during a shoot. Despite their radically different lives, Alejandro and Sophie begin to secretly meet at midnight. (Paramount+, February 10th premiere) True Spirit PG-13 — Based on a true story, this drama tells the story of 16-year-old Australian Jessica Watson, who sets out to be the youngest person to sail solo, non-stop and unassisted, around the world. As she seeks to fulfill her dream, she also faces her greatest fears while navigating the world's most challenging stretches of ocean. (Netflix, February 3rd premiere)

FRESH FROM THE THEATER

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever PG-13 — This popular Marvel Studios action/adventure received an Audience Score of 94% from Rotten Tomatoes. If you missed it in theaters or want to watch it again, here's your chance! It stars Angela Bassett, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Danai Gurira, Lupita Nyong'o, Tenoch Huerta Mejía, and Martin Freeman. (Disney+, February 1st premiere)

POPCORN NIGHT

Men in Black, Men in Black II, and Men in Black 3 PG-13 — Put on your dark sunglasses and relive the effects-driven extraterrestrial adventure of the Men in Black film franchise, which features galaxy defenders played by Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith. These three films — released in 1997, 2002, and 2012 — offer a powerful combination of sci-fi, action, and comedy. (Peacock, February 1st premiere)

Gunther's Millions TV-MA — After a wealthy countess died, everything she had went to her dog, Gunther. This four-episode docuseries follows the bizarre story of how the dog's 400 million dollars were built into a vast empire across two continents, including luxurious mansions, a glamorous entourage, and even a pop music group. (Netflix, February 1st premiere) Full Swing TV-MA — This original docuseries takes you deep into the world of golf with unprecedented access. It follows some of the best players in the game including Rory McIlroy — on and off the course — during a relentless season of competition in the PGA Tour. (Netflix, February 15th premiere) Bill Russell: Legend TV-MA — Made in collaboration with Bill Russell's estate, the two-part documentary film features the story of one of the greatest and most respected American athletes and NBA players of all time, who also built a civil rights legacy off the court. Russell's work advocating for racial equity changed how athletes utilize their celebrity for good. (Netflix, February 8th premiere)

A silhouetted suspect moves to the crime-infested town of Beika with murder in mind, in this spinoff spoof of "Detective Conan." (Netflix) Gunther's Millions — TV-MA, Limited Original Series. A dog with a trust fund isn't the strangest part of this story. Gunther's eccentric handler also lived a luxe life — with a cult-like entourage.
