Dear Eagle Nation:
I would like to thank each and every one of you for a wonderful and incredibly successful Homecoming Week. We came together to celebrate our individual and collective accomplishments, our culture, our Coppin Community, and the institution that has given all of us so much.
It was inspiring to see everyone from current students, to alumni, to loyal supporters of our university to come together to create memories and relationships

It was inspiring to see everyone from current students, to alumni, to loyal supporters of our university come together to create new memories, strengthen bonds, and showcase their unfailing loyalty to Eagle Nation.
I also had the opportunity to deliver my 2023 State of the University Address, reflecting on what we have accomplished together over the past year, and lay out our plans for a prosperous future, as we continue to educate our multicultural, multigenerational student population; serve the community; and lead the way in innovative problem-solving and entreprenurial spirit that will change the trajectory of our nation, and our world. In the past year, we have broken previous fundraising records, earned more grant dollars to fund innovative research and programing, launched several new academic programs, and made critical investments that will help improve economic mobility and the redevelopment in West Baltimore.
President Jenkins delivers the 2023 State of the University Address on Thursday, February 16, 2023.
Our progress and our successes are due to the hard work and determination of every member of Eagle Nation. I look forward to continued growth, recognition, and commitment to excellence.
