We Wish You a Merry Rockmas and a Happy New Year!

Happy Holidays!

November was stuffed with Rock Schooly Goodness and December promises to ring in the end of 2022 with tons of music and fun. Read all about it!

House Band Showed Off Their Chops & Sizzled at Bacon Fest!

The Vienna House Band took a trip up north to perform with our good friends from the Easton School of Rock at the PA Bacon Fest! They definitely brought home the bacon on stage. Such a fun day and incredible performances from the entire group!! People in the crowd walking past the stage would do a double take and stop in their tracks to listen to more! Check out these pics of us "hogging" the stage!

Winter Break Holiday Schedule

School of Rock Vienna will be CLOSED ON SATURDAY, December 24th through SUNDAY, January 1st, for our Winter Holiday Break!

We will be OPEN Monday, January 2nd, for all regularly scheduled lessons and classes. These holiday closures are built into the tuition fee schedule, and therefore make-up lessons will not be required.

We hope you all have a fun, festive, and wonderful Holiday Season!

We would first like to acknowledge everyone's talent, passion, and dedication. It was truly inspiring to see how many students want to be more involved here at School of Rock Vienna. With the growing number of students we have, these auditions get more and more competitive each year. And this year certainly did not disappoint! What is your favorite thing about School of Rock Vienna?

My favorite thing about the School of Rock is learning and playing music!

What is one of your favorite things you’ve learned from your time here so far?

My favorite thing I have learned at School of Rock is how to actually bend notes on the guitar properly.

What advice would you give to all the new SOR student musicians?

My advice to new SOR students is just to simply play MORE!

If you could be in any band or artist (past or present) who would it be and why?

If I could play with any band, I would play with Iron Maiden. They sound great and I love their effects on stage. Their airplane that comes down is so cool!

Inclement Weather Close/Open Procedures

It's almost that time of year again, so here's a reminder about our Inclement Weather Policy. We do not follow the county school closures about whether we will hold in person lessons or groups. Frequently the county makes their decisions in the morning based on whether or not the buses can maneuver through the neighborhoods. We make our decision to open/hold in person lessons or groups based on whether or not our staff can safely come to work. Once we have that, we will announce our "Open In Person" or "We're Going Online" status on inclement weather days by 1PM by sending you an email (Pike 13) and posting on our main SOR Vienna Facebook page and in our BAND groups. So be sure to check your inbox and social media prior to heading out. And stay warm out there!
