The Office of Talent, Culture, and Engagement is hosting a one-hour Benefits Annual Enrollment virtual presentation on Thursday, July 10, at 1:30 p.m. This one-hour session provides benefits-eligible employees with an overview of the 2025-2026 Employee Benefits and Annual Enrollment changes.

Notification of results to a grievance was changed from 10 to 15 working days. (AA-FPT-PO-01 Promotion and Tenure Policy)
The duties for “Cost Object Approver” in Paragraph IV. A. 6. were updated to ensure all charges are business related, UTA policies are followed, and the appropriate funding source is applied. In addition, all funding source and payments to a cost center must be approved in a timely manner by the approver, and in accordance with UTA policies. The sections on “Warrant Hold Verification” and “Purchase of Food and/or Refreshments,” including food for catering, reflect current practices. Disallowed Purchases now include Class 3B and 4 lasers, and references to the new Concur system were added throughout the procedure. (BF-PGC-PR-12 Purchasing (ProCard) Program Procedure)

Starting Monday, July 14, departments and colleges will compete to recognize, and in some cases, fix legacy UTA logos. Details will be available when the campaign goes live. Want a head start? The HUB Vendor Fair on Friday, July 11, from 1-2 p.m., offers faculty and staff an excellent opportunity to engage directly with certified Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) suppliers who will be onsite to showcase their products and services. You'll have the chance to explore procurement opportunities for their departments, network, and build relationships with various HUB suppliers. Stop by the Palo Duro Lounge in the University Center and meet the over 25 registered vendors.
