International Observe the Moon Night

To encourage awareness about lunar science and space exploration, UTA will join NASA to host International Observe the Moon Night on Saturday, Sept. 14. At the free event, held in the UTA Observatory from 8 to 10 p.m., visitors will be able to examine the moon, talk to astronomy experts, and take pictures through a 16-inch scientific-grade telescope.

The Office of Health Promotion presents National Recovery Month

On Monday, Sept. 16, join the Office of Health Promotion from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Palo Duro Lounge of the University Center for a recovery resource fair. Students are invited to celebrate college life free from substances with interactive booths, educational resources, and giveaways.

Office of Health Promotion, Take control of your health! Peer wellness sessions unlock a healthier you with personalized sessions

On Friday, Sept. 13, sit down with a Peer Health Educator from the Office of Health Promotion to create wellness goals or learn more about time management. These free sessions will be a a judgement-free zone personalized to your individual needs. Walk-ins are welcome. If you don't have time to stop by this Friday, you can schedule an appointment here.
