Through the Research Mavs Program, experienced undergraduates can offer you guidance, share research skills, and help you navigate the research process. This peer-to-peer collaboration, hosted in the Central Library, is designed to enhance academic skills, promote knowledge-sharing, and create a supportive community within the libraries and the University. Women's History Month Pop CultHER Con
|
Attend an action-packed event that celebrates women's impact on pop culture with activities, art, and presentations. Lunch will be provided. The event, which will be Thursday, March 21, from 12-3 p.m., is sponsored by the Maverick Pantry, Fraternity and Sorority Life, Relationship Violence and Sexual Assault Prevention, Intercultural Student Engagement Center, and Health Services.

After advancing to the finals of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Championship Tournament, the UTA men’s basketball team lost 89-74 to Grand Canyon University. Phillip Russell and Shemar Wilson were selected for the 2024 All-Tournament Team. The UTA women’s basketball team fell to the top-seeded California Baptist Lancers in the WAC semifinals by a final score of 83-67. Avery Brittingham represented the Lady Mavs on the 2024 WAC All-Tournament Team.

UTA and the National Science Foundation have teamed up to host a workshop discussing the benefits of graduate school. The workshop will be on Friday, March 22, 12-5 p.m. in the Engineering Research Building, Room 228. Lunch and $150 stipends will be provided to qualified participants until funds run out.
