Advisor Advice
Sarah Wheeler, CHPSS Graduate Assistant
Hi Lakers!
My name is Sarah, I’m currently in my second year in the CSAL program in higher education. I have been working in this advising office for about a year and a half and find it very rewarding being a resource for students. Autumn is my favorite time of year with the colorful FALL Leaves. Halloween Town marathons with cider and donuts are the perfect combination!
Being halfway through the semester came the spooky midterms… and I hope your midterms went well. If they did, come see us. If they did not, come see us. My advice is to not let your grades prevent you from scheduling a visit. Us advisors are here to help in any way we can from 32 different programs to class schedule to resources. Let us help you find the new reading center, tutoring center, writing center, career center, and many more!
