Inauguration events include the ceremony at 2 p.m. in Young Auditorium and a reception at 3 p.m. in the James R. Connor University Center.

Warhawk Charlie Shilhavy earns national music award
|
Charlie Shilhavy, a music major from Racine, was named the 2024 recipient of the Student Exemplary Service Award from the American String Teachers Association as part of the organization’s Student Chapter Awards. He will be honored at the ASTA National Conference on March 20-23 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Kudos to SangHee Park,
associate professor of communication, who has received the prestigious Communication Studies Article of the Year Award from the Central States Communication Association. Her research examines how minority health leaders helped bridge the COVID-19 healthcare crisis communication gap between marginalized and dominant U.S. communities. Dr. Park will be honored for her research at the CSCA Hall of Fame and Awards Ceremony in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in April 2024. Read more »
