It’s Time for the 2024 World Service Conference!
|
The 64th World Service Conference (WSC) will take place in Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA, April 18‑21, 2024.
Each year, following the WSC, the World Service Office compiles a World Service Conference Summary (P‑46) that provides a full report of Al‑Anon's largest group conscience meeting. The 2024 Summary will be posted to the Al‑Anon website in July. Meanwhile, consider reading about what has occurred at past WSCs. To see all Summaries from 1961 through 2023, visit the WSC Archive.

Professional Recommendations Matter |
In the 2021 Al‑Anon Membership Survey, which reached over 16,000 members, a revealing insight emerged: Of the 10,848 individuals who sought treatment prior to joining Al‑Anon, 41 percent were introduced to our program through the recommendation of a professional. This finding highlights the essential role that healthcare professionals play in guiding individuals toward the healing support Al‑Anon provides.

New Topic for the Member Blog |
April’s topic is, “What notes of encouragement do you have for those attending the World Service Conference this year?” As always, you can also write about Al‑Anon’s three Legacies. This month features Step Four, Tradition Four, and Concept Four.
