SUU and Special Olympics Utah
Historic SUU and Special Olympics Partnership
Special Olympics Utah, the ShowUp Foundation, and SUU announced a three-year agreement to host the Special Olympics Utah Summer Games on our campus beginning in 2025. The partnership will expand opportunities, increase statewide collaboration, and provide a high-quality experience for athletes and fans.

The Rotunda of Utah's Capitol Hill was filled with electrifying Thunderbird red on January 30, for SUU Day on the Hill. Hundreds of Capitol visitors, legislators, guests, students, and alumni all gathered to celebrate the excellent and innovative accomplishments of our incredible University.

Transfer Agreement with Snow College
Transfer Agreement with Snow College Creates New Opportunities for Students
SUU and Snow College have signed an agreement that will benefit students pursuing an elementary education degree. Eligible Snow College students can now transfer their associates degree to SUU where they can complete their last two years of coursework online or on the SUU campus.

Howard R. Driggs Memorial Lecture
Howard R. Driggs Memorial Lecture
Zonnie Gorman, a recognized historian of Navajo Code Talkers of World War II, will present the 2024 Howard R. Driggs Memorial Lecture on Tuesday, March 12, as part of our 2024 SUU Founders Celebration. The lecture will take place at 11:30 a.m. in the Gilbert Great Hall, Hunter Alumni Center. The lecture is free and open to all.

SUU Student Appears on The Price Is Right
Student Chosen as Contestant on The Price Is Right
Lindsey Wessling, a sophomore studying outdoor recreation, parks and tourism, from Bellevue, Nebraska, recently had the thrill of a lifetime as a contestant on the iconic television game show, "The Price Is Right." A lifelong fan of the game show, Lindsey said hearing her name called to "Come On Down!" was a dream come true.
