Top Online Nursing Program
We have been named as one of the nation's best schools for online degrees and certificates in the healthcare field going into 2024. According to the AACN, there are 747 RN to BSN programs nationwide, with only six percent regionally accredited colleges and universities earning a ranking position. SUU is ranked 35th in the nation, placing us in the top 4.7% RN to BSN programs nationwide.

SUU Fan Fests
Join us for two Fan Fests this month as we cheer on our Men's Basketball Team Thursday, January 18, as they take on Utah Tech, and then for our Women's Basketball Team on Thursday, January 25, as they host Tarleton State. Both Fan Fests run from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and are held in the Sharwan Smith Center Ballroom. Enjoy FREE food, games, activities, prizes, Thor, and more. And, we are offering FREE tickets to the first 100 fans at both Fan Fests.

Cedar City Named Third 'Fastest Growing College Town' in America
Cedar City is the third fastest-growing college town in America according to BrokeScholar. Cedar's population doubled between 2000 and 2023 to a population of 41,440, and is forecasted to reach 51,000 by 2030. Growth has brought enhanced cultural opportunities, increased educational resources, and a stronger economy.

SUU to NFL Pro Bowl
T-Bird Nation is proud to celebrate the remarkable achievement of Miles Killebrew, a 2015 graduate and current Pittsburgh Steeler, for being selected to this year's Pro Bowl. Miles' journey from the Thunderbirds to the National Football League has been marked by exceptional talent and constant improvement

SUU to Utah Department of Cultural and Community Engagement
Donna Law, a 26-year SUU veteran, has been appointed as the interim executive director of the Utah Department of Cultural and Community Engagement. She began her position on January 3, and now leads 150 professionals across seven divisions, and is shaping the future of the state through the power of arts and culture.
