CALLS TO ACTION

Campus Beautification Ribbon Cutting
Join us Friday, September 8, starting at noon, for a ribbon cutting ceremony marking the completion of the first mural project sponsored by the Campus Beautification Committee. It's happening at the mural site on the exterior wall connecting West Side Dining with the LGBTQ* Center. There will be leadership speakers, a DJ and refreshments as we formally unveil this DEI-focused piece of art and invite you to take photos, enjoy and engage with it!
LIRR Survey
Suffolk County is seeking input on the possible benefits of modernizing the Port Jefferson branch through electrification, double tracking, potential yard modifications and other improvements that would allow for direct train service options on the branch to both Penn Station and Grand Central, and more frequent service overall. Complete a short survey here.
Origami Submission Deadline Extended
The Campus Beautification Committee and university Origami Club invite you to participate in a special community initiative celebrating peace, hope, perseverance, community and family through the beauty of origami art. Find out more and make your submission by September 1.
