In our previous issue, we shared the magic of our trip hosting services. Today, we turn our attention to the most romantic of journeys: Honeymoons.
For 2025, we are seeing a lot of piqued interest and bookings for Honeymoons in the following areas areas:
- Experiential Honeymoons: Couples are increasingly seeking out unique and immersive experiences that go beyond traditional beach vacations. Think adventure honeymoons in destinations like Iceland or New Zealand, culinary adventures in Italy or Thailand, or cultural explorations in Japan, Morocco or Machu Picchu.
- Sustainable Travel: Eco-consciousness is a growing priority for many couples. Sustainable honeymoon options are becoming more popular, with a focus on responsible tourism, eco-friendly accommodations, and local experiences.
- Micro and Mini-moons: With busy schedules and rising costs, some couples are opting for shorter, more intimate and luxurious honeymoons - packed into smaller time frames. These can be long-weekend getaways to nearby destinations or slightly longer trips to more exotic locations.
- Multi-Moons: Similar to micro moons, this involves taking several shorter trips during the first year of marriage instead of one long honeymoon. This approach allows couples to experience various destinations, adapt to married life gradually, avoid extended time off from work, and potentially save costs by traveling during off-peak seasons or taking advantage of travel deals.

| “When we returned from our honeymoon and our friends and family asked how our trip went, we had no idea where to start…
Our trip has been beyond what words can express. Italy is everything you could imagine, friendly, beautiful, delicious and sets the bar high for living standards.
The real treat, however, lies with Allora’Scapes. Without the help of Bruce, we probably wouldn’t have come close to the amazing experiences we had if we were to have planned this on our own. Everyday that went by, we had been grateful to have partnered with Allora’Scapes! Bruce nailed it in every way that it felt like we did plan it ourselves, but without lifting a finger.
We were so impressed that Bruce was able to learn us so well as a couple and let it unfold in our honeymoon, all by a few simple questions! He picked the most amazing locations along the Amalfi Coast that each day was filled with things we HAD to experience with a mixture of leisure days, allowing us to experience the trip as our own. With all the travel experience that Bruce has personally, he knew how to steer us exactly where we wanted to be.
The hotels that Bruce picked out for us left us speechless! He warned me that each hotel was amazing in their own way, but as the trip went on, each hotel got better and better, and he did NOT disappoint with this. Our hotels left us questioning how we ended up in some amazing locations because we didn’t even know we could find places like that. For our last hotel, Bruce excitedly kept a secret because he didn’t want to spoil the surprise of the ambience. When we arrived, we were at a loss for words of the beauty, history and warm welcome we received. It was such a special touch to our honeymoon!
The partners that Allora’Scapes have in Italy have also been fantastic to work with, from travel guides on excursions, all the way to the drivers. Everyone has been so wonderful and truly feel like lifelong friends because of how welcoming they all were.
The comfort in knowing that Bruce was a quick text away also made us feel even more confident in going abroad. However, once we got there, he had us so well prepared that we hardly even needed to contact him (other than just sharing happy moments through pictures). Before leaving on this trip, he made sure that we had his detailed app downloaded and access to other apps to help our trip go as smoothly as possible. We had everything we needed with just the click of a button on our phones.
It is without doubt that on our next big trip abroad we will be using Bruce again at Allora’Scapes; they have spoiled us too much to miss another opportunity with them.
I would recommend using Bruce to all of my friends and family, especially if they want a trip of a lifetime!”

Given that planning a honeymoon can be daunting, especially while simultaneously planning for a wedding, we wanted to share a few fun tips and strategies for making your special day more enjoyable!
❤️ Honeymoon registry - "Skip the Blender" and register at the Traveler’s Joy, a site that allows guests to purchase things like a romantic beach dinner, surf lessons, etc.
❤️ Strike a balance - make sure you have the right mix of activities and down time. This is your bucket list trip and you don’t want to be exhausted.
❤️ Travel during shoulder season - for better prices and fewer crowds. The Amalfi Coast and Greece are fantastic in October, and the Maldives are great between October and April. Not to mention you can live like royalty in some countries in Southeast Asia if you are willing to deal with the longer flights.
❤️ Tie another knot - speaking of Maldives (Or Bora Bora), if you are staying anywhere in an overwater bungalow, bring a thin rope to tie a blow-up raft or float to your bungalow. It helps keep your float secure and it can help you identify your bungalow from the others should you venture away exploring or snorkeling.
❤️ Put a (faux) ring on it - Leave your wedding ring home and bring an inexpensive replica. This will prevent your ring from being lost or damaged.
❤️ Honeymoon Perks - Ask your travel advisor for Honeymoon deals when booking hotels and resorts.
❤️ Determine ahead of time what type of Honeymoon you want - Adventurous, Chill, Tours? Create an itinerary that meets your personality and don’t settle for cookie-cutter, run of the mill experiences. (Allora’Scapes can help with this of course!)
