It's been an extraordinary journey, one that has taken us across multiple countries and connected us with scores of remarkable individuals - both our customers and our friends and partners abroad. Each destination has been a kaleidoscope of unique cultures, breathtaking landscapes, and unforgettable experiences.

We are deeply thankful for the privilege of curating these journeys, of witnessing the joy in your eyes as you discover hidden gems and create lifelong memories. Your trust and enthusiasm have been the driving force behind our shared adventures. This was also a time for taking chances, as we did with our first ever luxury-yacht cruiser voyage, sailing  around the Croatian Islands. This ambitious adventure was an overwhelming success - measurable by the shared experiences, accolades, and newfound friendships that have been created. 

This year, the travel industry has witnessed a remarkable resurgence, and we are humbled to be a part of this renaissance. It is a testament to the enduring human spirit's yearning for exploration and connection.

In the spirit of giving thanks, we wanted to spotlight a "giving back" of sorts. 
As of October 28th, new U.S. Department of Transportation rules require airlines to automatically refund passengers for the following:
✈️ Canceled or significantly delayed flights
      ✈️ Lost checked bags, 
      ✈️ Unfulfilled purchased services. 
This applies even to delays caused by factors beyond the airline's control, such as weather. However, passengers who accept rebooking on a later flight are not eligible for refunds. While legislation has been proposed for additional compensation in uncontrollable circumstances, it has not yet been enacted.
The DOT considers the following to be "significant changes":
  • Domestic flight delays of 3+ hours
  • International flight delays of 6+ hours
  • Itinerary advancements of 6+ hours
  • Changes to origin or destination
  • Increased number of connections
  • Downgrade in class of service
  • Rerouting of travelers with disabilities through different airports
  • Booking travelers with disabilities on less accessible aircraft

Additional Security PSA: Be careful when posting about your flights to Social Media. One of our acquaintances posted a picture of their boarding passes for multiple flights to an online airline group with some questions around flight management. Within minutes, "bad actors" were able to use her name, record locator, and other identifying information to change her password and cancel most of her flights. Never post a picture of your record locator, and to be safe, we recommend refraining from posting any specific information about your flight(s).
