EXTENSION OF SUNY WORKPLACE FLEXIBILITY TELECOMMUTING PROGRAMMING
As noted in this recent memo, the SUNY Workplace Flexibility-Telecommuting Program has been extended from an end date of June 30, 2024, until June 30, 2025, allowing employees to seek approval to continue to work remotely up to five days per pay period or up to 50 percent of their obligation if they are part time. An individual’s participation in the telecommuting arrangement must be feasible and consistent with operational needs and may be modified, suspended or canceled at any time by management with 30 calendar days’ advance written notice to the employee. Employees who have an arrangement canceled or suspended may reapply six months from the date of cancellation or suspension. The terms of the program can be found here.
UPDATE TO DUO VERIFIED PUSH DESIGN
Attention: new Duo update in effect now. Previously, Duo sent a push notification requiring users to authorize a login with a single click. Now, users are required to authorize a login by entering a number displayed on screen. This is designed to stop MFA fatigue attacks, where users mistakenly authorize fraudulent logons.
