Dear NYU Parents and Families,
The semester is in full swing and campus is abuzz! It has been wonderful to see students connecting with friends and faculty and exploring all that NYU and NYC offer. Whether your student is starting their first year at NYU or is close to the finish line — we are thrilled to be a part of their NYU journey!
I would like to give a warm welcome to our new parents and families. Over the summer, the families of incoming students participated in the launch of the inaugural New Parents & Families Orientation, which was a major success. The orientation included newsletters with important updates and campus news, an informative six-part webinar series, and our New Student Send-offs that connected students all over the U.S. and abroad prior to the first day of classes. We drew in participation from thousands of parents and families and answered hundreds of questions.
As we embark on a new academic year we do so with a commitment and belief that all of us — students, families, and university administrators, and faculty — are partners in ensuring our students’ success. We are excited to continue our engagement with parents and families through our newsletter, webinar series, and campus events.
