A Peek Inside the BMC2 Coordinating Center
BMC2 MHealthy Champion, Pam Benci, applied for and obtained an MHealthy grant for a mental health and well-being activity space in the Coordinating Center. This dedicated space is grouped with our BMC2 offices at Arbor Lakes in Ann Arbor and includes a gratitude board, markers, and magnets as well as coloring and word search books, and Uno cards. The gratitude board is used to reflect on what we are thankful for and often serves to “shout out” at and recognize team members for their helpful contributions. The activity books and game can be used for a quick “brain break” or together as a group during lunch.
Back row, left to right – John Sly, Mary Casey, Milan Seth, Jeremy Albright, Nate Yost, Jeff Hartnagle, and Sheryl Fielding. Front row, left to right – Elizabeth Horn, Kathleen Frazier, Pam Benci, Annemarie Forrest, Hitinder Gurm, Rebecca Fleckenstein, and Amy Shirato.
