As we find ourselves at the end of another semester, it’s a great opportunity to invest in some self-care. This month’s newsletter will still bring you the latest in people-leading news, but we’ve also provided some ways for you to get involved, get active, and take advantage of your employee benefits.
In case you missed it, April’s People Leaders Forum covered the Institute’s updated telework policy and HR’s newly focused strategic priorities. Click here to view the slide deck, and click here to watch a video of the April forum. Tell us how you like the forums by submitting feedback here.
Finally, with as much as is moving and shaking at Tech, it’s easy to lose sight of an important celebration: more than 6,500 degrees were conferred at spring commencement ceremonies this month. If you’d like to view photos of the fanfare, click here.

Q12 Survey Microlearning Sessions |
As Georgia Tech leadership has promised, we're analyzing feedback from the recent Gallup Q12 Employee Engagement Survey in bite-size pieces we're calling "microlearning sessions."
This time, we're taking a closer look at Q03: At work, I have the opportunity to do what I do best every day.
This indicator speaks to an employee’s need to feel understood by their employer. If an organization truly understands its employees and can focus on their strengths, results often include higher job satisfaction and productivity, and lower stress.
To view a presentation and audio of Q12’s insight into Georgia Tech employee job satisfaction, what better work satisfaction can mean for an organization, and helpful tips for Georgia Tech leaders, click the button below.
