Dear GW Community,
As we step into the heart of summer, we offer welcome moments — to recharge, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most. This month, we're focusing on supporting your well-being both in and out of the workplace. From tools to improve sleep and reduce stress, to mid-year financial check-ins and child care resources, there’s something for everyone.
Additionally, opportunities like the professional clothing drive offer a meaningful way to give back and support our GW students. You’ll also find ways to stay active, enhance your well-being, and make a positive impact this summer. Be sure to explore this month’s updates, including upcoming events, important reminders, and chances to connect 1:1 with our benefit vendor partners.

Finding Balance: Sleep and Rest for a More Focused Day |
|
|
As faculty and staff, you give so much of your time and energy to others, but rest is essential to sustaining your well-being. When stress builds, it’s easy to push sleep aside. Watch this on demand expert-led Headspace workshop that offers practical tools to help you prioritize quality sleep and daily rest, even on your busiest days. You’ll learn how to create a nighttime routine that supports deep, restorative sleep, incorporate short, effective rest practices into your workday, boost focus, energy, and resilience through mindful sleep, and fit rest into your schedule without feeling like it’s “one more thing”. Small changes to improve your sleep schedule can make a big difference in how you feel and function both in and out of work.
