About this issue's bannerThis month’s banner image was taken by Andreanna Burman, a Cell and Developmental Biology graduate student in the Jim Goldenring lab. The immunofluorescence image shows human intestinal enteroids stained for nuclei (magenta) and ACTG1 (γ-actin; cyan), which helps to visualize the actin-rich brush border. Burman took this image to determine if the enteroids had differentiated, as only differentiated enteroids form a brush border.
