Volunteer at a Community Immunization Event

Volunteers are needed to administer shots at back-to-school immunization events for local schoolchildren. Sign up to volunteer at one or more events on July 29, August 5, and September 30 at Teaching and Learning Academy on Union Ave. Volunteers must attend training on July 26 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at 600 Jefferson Ave.

Applications for the Office of Inclusion, Equity, and Diversity’s Inclusive Engagement Program are open now until August 11. Running September 1–30, the immersive online program has the goal of intentionally increasing participants’ engagement with nuanced aspects of diversity, inclusion, equity, and social justice.

On Friday, July 28, the HSC Hub is participating in the Tennessee Sales Tax Holiday. General apparel priced $100 or less, school supplies, and computers and tablets priced $1,500 or less may be purchased tax-free. Stock up on your UTHSC gear and save on those big-ticket items!

International Self-Care Day Workshop
|
SASSI invites students to attend a workshop for International Self-Care Day Monday, July 24, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm in GEB A310. Participants will learn the importance of self-care and how to create a self-care plan. The first 12 students in attendance will receive donuts and giveaways!

A random sampling of UT System employees is being asked to complete the Great Place to Work survey to help the system gauge the employee experience. Selected employees will receive an email with the survey link. Participants are asked to respond openly and honestly.
