Greetings friend, and welcome to the March edition of the Comfort Connection! You might think our business is all about the elderly. . . and it is. Yes, of course we specialize in caring for older adults, and our service is all about caring for the elderly to keep them in their homes for as long as possible. However, our hearts go out equally to the adult children of our clients. We understand family caregivers, those in the “Sandwich Generation,” are under a lot of pressure. If that is you, you have a lot going on in your life, and
sometimes so much that you forget to take care of yourself! Because we are familiar with the stress and the lack of self care, Comforts of Home – Care has partnered with some wonderful people (
Chimuk Landry as well as
Bremeston and Associates) to bring you A NIGHT OFF! Celebrate Family Caregivers! Inspiration and more on March 31 is for you.
Join us with special guests Stephanie Staples, Fred Penner, Laurie Mustard and Zofia Dove as we celebrate family caregivers at this free and inspiring event to recognize all that you do in caring for others.
Refreshments, entertainment, silent auction (to benefit the Heart & Stroke Foundation), door prize and a rib-tickling good time are in store. For more info:
